GHG® Ground Force Dog Blind
I am very fortunate to live in "God's Country", as we call it. We chase waterfowl up and down the North Platte River in Western Nebraska and one of the most productive ways of hunting is to use layout blinds. Done right, it can be a very effective way of hunting. I am always amazed with the people we take hunting that don't know the proper way to use them and where they should put their dogs when we hunt out of layouts. One of the most common mistakes that I see, is a hunter will put their dog in the layout blind with them. BIG MISTAKE! That is just an accident waiting to happen. It is extremely unsafe for both the hunter and dog. Breaking dogs are the most at risk. Even if your hunting partner doesn't break, the muzzle blast will be terrible and unnecessary.
