Jake Latendresse grew up in the rich hunting culture of west Tennessee. Born and raised on Kentucky Lake in Camden, Tennessee, Jake cut his teeth in the infamous Camden Bottoms where he grew up hunting mallards in the flooded corn and timber. At the young age of 3, his father began to cultivate a passion that turned into a life long ambition. Now living in Colorado, he integrates his southern style while filming, guiding and hunting along the historical North and South Platte River systems.

Today, Jake travels the continent filming hunts for outdoor television and spends most of his time chasing mature whitetails in the hardwoods of the Midwest, mallards in the flooded timber of Arkansas and wild turkeys all over the country. His video and photography career began in 2003 and has resulted in published photos and field production for several of the top shows in the industry. Through the eyes of a camera lens, Jake's love for the outdoors has found new meaning: capturing memories on film for outdoor television viewers. His productions can be viewed on outdoor networks such as the Outdoor Channel, The Sportsman's Channel and Versus. Filming for RNT-V, Super Retriever Series and The Wild Outdoors, Jake has the opportunity to experience world class hunting everyday of the season.

As a result being a cameraman, Jake brings an interesting perspective to the Avery Pro-staff. He says, "Hiding a camera is one of the most difficult experiences I have ever had in the outdoor world. However, Avery equipment allows me to set up as inconspicuous as possible so that the weary eyes of wild game are not suspicious of my presence. That is a must, if I want to capture in-your-face footage."

Jake joined the Avery Outdoors pro-staff in 2006.
